Friday night, we went as a family to the Spokane Chiefs hockey game. It was Toby's 1st hockey game and Talia's first that she could remember. We had taken her when she was really little. They both really enjoyed it. There were lots of goals...we won 6-0 and a couple good fights too! Good times!
Gigglin' boy!
Saturday it was a night of firsts for Talia. For Christmas, Grady had gotten tickets to go see the live production of "Annie" for Talia and I, so we made a complete girls night out of it. We went to dinner at Red Robin (her favorite restaurant!) and then to the show! She loved the show and was singing along to "Tomorrow"!

After dinner, I surprised her with a trip to the fondue restaurant, Melting Pot for some yummy dessert! She thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Dippin' in chocolate!!
It was a fun weekend with lots of activities as a family. It's so nice to be able to do more things with the kids as Toby gets older. It's still a little hard at 20 months...but it will only get easier with lots of fun adventures ahead.
Here's the kids playing Hullabaloo together this morning...

So fun! I love how you make the art of doing family things so ALIVE. Also, your kids grin with two of the most joyful smiles I have ever seen!
Sounds like a great weekend! I too, love your kids' smiles. It's contagious!
