We found warmth!!

It's been a few weeks since we've been back, just trying to catch up..but we had a great Spring Break in Scottsdale, Arizona. The kids were lucky enough (Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Emmerson!) to get to spend time with their cousins and grandparents in Tri-Cities and then up at the cabin on Hayden Lake, which gave Mommy & Daddy time for a little adult vacation with friends!!

The warm weather and down time was beyond enjoyable! Time to relax by the pool, read books and chat with friends uninterrupted...were priceless!

We also had time to visit some of our great friends from college, The Hawkins, who live down there and also time to visit Dad and Brenda, who were down their for their month hiatus from Seattle. We made it to a Phoenix Coyotes game with them...which was Grady's first NHL game ever! It was the last regular season game and they clinched a playoff spot with their win over their rival, San Jose Sharks!

It was a great trip! We're so thankful for good friends to share it with and grandparents that make it possible!!

Now only if it'd show up here!! (Although, we did get a treat of sun today!!) Let's hope it sticks around!!
