Well, now we've officially moved on to the big girl firsts...losing her first tooth!!
It's been wiggling for weeks...but just didn't seem quite ready, even though the bottom two adult teeth have already been coming in behind the baby teeth. We finally thought it was worth a try to really make a go and yank that sucker out! Knowing our daughter's dramatic tendencies especially when it comes in being injured, etc...I was a tad worried. Luckily, I was happily surprised in that she took it like a champ, not a tear to be found and was so excited! She was beyond ready, since she felt like she was the last one in her class to lose a tooth!
Can't you just see the excitement in her face?!
Here's the letter she left for the tooth fairy...
She woke up and ran into our room to show me the $1 and the letter the tooth fairy left her! She was so excited!
I just love the joys of childhood....watching as a parent. As I laid in her bed tonight listening to her read, I just watched her growing up in front of my eyes. I can't believe how grown up she is getting and what a proud mom I am.
