Sierra Dawn

This is one of my BFF's...Sierra and her fiance' Mack. This was before she was diagnosed with brain cancer. Before having to endure hours of physical therapy to regain control of her left side. Before chemo and radiation.

Now is our time to help. We can all help by continuing to keep her in our thoughts and prayers. If you are able, it's also time to help financially. Here's an update from our mutual friend Val:

A life changing event has transpired for my best friend, Sierra Dawn Esteves. Over the week of January 12th -14th, 2010, Sierra had to receive an emergency operation to her brain to remove a tumor. They told her it was brain cancer.

At this moment Sierra is still recovering in the hospital and she is working to become whole again. She is currently working with some of the best doctors, nurses, and caretakers in the region at Swedish in Seattle . Many of her friends, family and co-workers have begun to provide support and/or are asking how to provide support during her time in need. Sierra is a nurse and had been on her new job for three months. The issue is compounded due to lack of paid leave, non- qualified for FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), etc.
With medical bills piling up and Sierra not being able to work, Sierra and her fiancé Mack are struggling to pay medical bills, phone bills, energy bills, and at risk for losing their home.

A fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank called the 'Sierra Dawn's Cancer Fight Fund'.
Anyone can drop by a Wells Fargo branch and make a donation. All proceeds will go towards her fight.

Please, do what you can. Also, please note that this information is verified and this is not some type of scam.
This is just one human reaching out to another.
Please send this message on if you know someone that also wants to help.

Thank you.
(If you have any other questions, you can contact Sierra's fiancé, Mack Junior, at 206-852-1755 or junimack@gmail.com)

Thank you so much for your support and Sierra-Boo...we're fighting right along with you, babe! We love you!!
