This last weekend Grady and I were able to travel to Seattle to celebrate my step-mom, Brenda's (B*) 60th birthday. We were happily surprised with a visit from my aunt & uncle from Utah as well! We had a great time catching up with family and eating ourselves into a weekend-long food coma. B*'s birthday also coincided with my Dad & Brenda's annual Christmas party, so we had some time to catch up with friends that we don't get to see as often as we'd like. Getting some time to just spend with hubby was a nice bonus too, as we haven't had much time for just the two of us, since football season just ended.
Great family, great friends, great food...and the bonus of the entire weekend....$600 in travel vouchers on Alaska/Horizon Airlines for volunteering to be bumped. We were supposed to have to wait up to 5 hours get us on another flight, but it only took an hour! We TOTALLY scored!

Now it's on to the hurried, last minute Holiday details....Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to shop I go.....
