Third time is the charm

Two years in a row, the Ferris Saxons football team ended their season one game too soon.  Losing in the semi-finals back to back years had to be heart-breaking, so as the Saxons headed back to the semis this year, I'm sure there were a lot of mixed emotions for players, coaches and fans alike.
Well, as the title says...the third time is the charm!  The Saxons played a tough game vs. Skyview from Vancouver and came away with a victory, punching their tickets to the State Championships!!  What an exciting game it was!!  Lots of family and friends their to cheer on a determined group of boys...ready to show they belong in that state title game.

I took Talia and two of my nephews down on the field to celebrate with the team and they loved the hugs and high fives from all the coaches and the boys!!

Happy Saxons boys!!

So now we're off to Tacoma next weekend for the Gridiron Classic State Championships!!  We're playing a tough Skyline (Sammamish) team, but with the way our boys have been playing, I think we've got a great shot at bringing home the title!!
