1989-2009

I have no idea what I did on New Year's 1989...probably banged on pots and pans and waived sparklers at midnight with my parents, since I was 11. What a difference 20 years can make! This year we did a flashback to 1989..Prom in all it's glory. There's so many good pics, but here's just a few!









And on a New Year's note...I can't be more thankful for everyone and everything I have in my life. I have a happy, healthy family...great friends that I couldn't live without...a great job. It's a life that I couldn't have even predicted back in 1989 how wonderful it would be.
In regards to New Year's resolutions, I sometimes think they just set you up to fail. You make specific goals about weight loss, exercise, etc. and if you aren't on track right away, it gets you down. This year I am taking a cue from my best friend, Jen and her New Year's resolution. She says for the last few years she takes one word and incorporates it into her life. This year her's is balance. My word/resolution for 2009 is Grow. I want to grow as a wife, as a mother, as a friend, in business, in life....and NOT in weight! :)
