Good Times

Last night we went to dinner with our friends, The Fontaine's. Our night out without the kids was SO enjoyable. We went to dinner at Spencer's steakhouse -YUM!-and ended up having a 4 hour dinner. It was so fun to just sit and catch up with friends with no agenda, no rush...just took our time enjoying each other. It's always nice to hear what other families go through with their kids. It make you realize that you are not the only one that has moments of pure bliss and joy or moments of anguish and embarassment, as life plays out as a parent.
The kids stayed home with Grandma, who came up to spend a few wonderful days with us this week. It was a treat to have her come visit! She and Talia made cookies last night...
This was her licking flour...she didn't know it's not too good
by itself. You should have seen her face right after this. :)

Looking forward to a good weekend. The Cougs are home tomorrow...but we're up in the air on whether we're going to make the trek down to Pullman or not. No one in our "crew" is heading down, plus it is supposed to rain all day. Hmmm, doesn't sound too fun to me...we'll see! I might just want to cuddle up in front of the fire with the kids and cuddle!
