Catching Up....
So I won't catch you up on all we have done in the past year, other than to say it's be fabulously busy, to say the least. We've had lots of great times, trips, games, etc. I'm sure you'll catch on rather quickly, how busy we really are...but we wouldn't have it any other way!
Kiddo updates:
Talia - (8)...(going on 14) completed 2nd grade and loved her class and teacher, Mr. Porter! They always had a ton of fun in his class and she grew so much this year, in so many ways. Her basketball team, was undefeated for the 2nd year in a row...they really figured things out this year. It was actually fun to watch them "get it" this season. She also finished her 6th year of dance. She was really wanting the 5 year plaque from Miss Penni's School of Dance and was so proud to receive it this year! (Her 1st year was elsewhere!) Talia is in the midst of her 2nd year of machine pitch softball and has really got a hold of it this year. The smile on her face at 2nd base, as she's hit several doubles to the outfield this year, is priceless!
Toby - (6) finished his 2nd year at Stepping Stone in Liberty Lake. This year he did an all-day Kindergarten class with only 8 kids and the one on one assistance and his dedication, paid off! He is loving reading, writing and all the other fun things he learned this year. He made some great friends and is excited for next year at the Kindergarten Center for all-day school through the district. Toby also played basketball this year...and it was great! They still travel around in swarms...and when the ball gets loose, it looks like a rugby scrum to get it, but they have a blast and that's the most important part!! Toby also played his first year of coach pitch, Pony Baseball this year. It was a step-up from T-ball, but he really relished it and LOVED playing catcher, pitcher or 1st base. Can you tell he wanted to be in the action?!!
Grady - Finished his 4th year coaching and 2nd year teaching at Ferris HS. He really loves it there and I think has really found a place that he will stay for a while. It's a great football staff and he team teaches with another gal, and that's worked well, so he's been very happy.
Me - Still working for Adventures in Advertising. I love the flexibility it offers, so I can get the best of both the working world and the stay at home mom benefits! I'm so lucky! I love the amazing group of women that are my girlfriends. We have fun at the gym, the bar, the lake...wherever! They are amazing ladies, that I'm not sure I could cope without.S
So that's about it for the update....stay tuned for more posts!!
