How do I not have an ulcer???

That's what I've been asking myself the last few weeks of this high school football season!!  The games have been an up and down of emotions...week after week.
Last night (Fri, Oct. 30th) was our last regular season home game (A foggy one!) and we were virtually eliminated from the playoff picture.

We needed to pull out a big win against a great U-High team and we needed the underdog LC Tigers to pull out a HUGE win against the dominate Gonzaga Prep Bullpups.  Well amazingly enough, the stars aligned and both Ferris and LC won, forcing a three way tie for the 3rd spot in the playoffs.   Now after all of the wishing, hoping & finger-crossing, it comes down to a tie-breaker on Tuesday.  The Saxons start the25 yard playoff against the Bullpups, then the winner takes on U-High and the winner of that goes on to play Wenatchee in the 1st round of the playoffs.  Yikes!  No more worrying about who has to lose...we just need to win!  I know the Saxons have a great team this year and can do it...but they are doing it by giving me an ulcer at the same time!!  I do have to say the ulcer is worth it after 4 seasons with a total of 4 wins.  I'll take this kind of emotional roller coaster anyday!!
Come on Saxons...show us what you are made of and show yourselves that you can do it!!
