At long last...an update

Not sure why it's taken me so freaking long to post again...just been busy I guess.

We had a great 4th of July up at Hayden Lake, hanging with family and friends from Kennewick. We borrowed my Mom & H's motorhome and it was awesome...we were spoiled! Not sure if I'll ever be able to go up there again on the 4th without it. It was the magic sleeping pill for Toby...he slept in until 10am one day! That's a record! The kids played well, swam tons and loved the fireworks!

Talia also had swim lessons this last week. She rocked them! She became much more comfortable in the water, without a life jacket and goggles. I loved seeing her so proud of her accomplishments.

We had a suprise visitor this last week too! Coach Doba was coming through town and we were able to go have a bite and catch up with him and put him up for the night. Everytime I am around him, it reminds me of what an amazing man he is and how lucky we are to have him in our lives. He means so much to both Grady and I and it's nice to be able to stay in such close contact with him. We are going to try and plan a time to go back and visit him, hopefully soon.
Last weekend Grady had a football camp with his new team up in Vancouver, BC. It was a great bonding time with his fellow coaches and new players. He's SO happy in his new role. So, while Grady was up in Canada, the kids and I spent Saturday up at Diamond Lake with friends. The kids did great...Talia was swimming all day and even swam in the middle of the lake (a first for her, without freaking out!)

This week the kids are hanging at home - we got the next two weeks off from daycare, so it's been nice to spend some extra time with them. Toby had his first dentist appointment yesterday and he was a rock star!! He let them do everything and didn't make a peep! What a champ!

They are getting also getting some fun time with Grammy & Grandpa H today and tomorrow, taking a little trip in the motorhome.

We leave for Cabo (without the kids!) on Saturday. We're really looking forward to a little R & R, time to hang with our good friends and enjoy good times.

I'll be sure to post an update and pics after our trip!!
