The Kennewick Adventure

So, with all the insane snow that we had gotten, plus me recovering from my surgery, Toby and I both with colds...we really contemplated not making the treacherous trip to Kennewick. We all would have been devastated to not be able to see the Emmerson clan, but didn't know if it was going to be a little too much. Well...Saturday we up and decided in our very short window of blue sky to throw everything in the car and head out!! We had a safe trip down and a wonderful visit with the family! It just wouldn't have been the same without seeing all our family this holiday season.

Talia had a great time having slumber parties with Grandma, cousin Shelby and best friend, Hailey!! She also had a wonderful time sledding and of course opening her presents!

We got home early this afternoon and just in time! The snow started falling again about 20 minutes after we walked in the door! We had another safe and uneventful drive and we're glad to be home safe and sound.
